It is only 15 minutes away from downtown and 12 min walk from the Newport Convention and Visitors Center, the Hyatt Regency Newport provides a refreshing escape from the ordinary. The hotel offers spectular views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Newport's charming shops, elegant mansions, graceful yachts and historic attractions are virtually right at your door. The hotel is an easy drive from Boston, Providence, Worcester or Hartford and just four hours from New York. Please note that the Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel & Spa is nearing completion of its' $34 Million transformation. Completed areas include: newly remodeled guestrooms, meeting/function space, grand entrance, new lobby bar, Stillwater Spa, Windward Restaurant, and fitness room. Areas that will still be under renovation through the end of June include the indoor pool, new parking garage and some landscaping. Although the indoor pool will be closed through the end of June, the outdoor pool overlooking Narragansett Bay and the Newport Bridge will be open beginning Memorial Day weekend.
