Pura Vida USA is a country bed and breakfast and retreat center located on 72 acres near the historic gold-rush town of Dahlonega, GA in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just over an hour from Atlanta. The Inn is a reproduction 1920-style farmhouse and barn with a wrap-around porch from which our guests have a spectacular and relaxing view of the Chattahoochee National Forest and beyond. The fresh air will instantly begin to lull you out of your big-city blues, and our outdoor salt-water Jacuzzi, nature trails and spa treatments will take care of your body and sprit. But the bliss does not end there! Delight in the panoramic views from our large front porch, or walk among the mountain laurel, great oaks, pines, and dogwoods. Farmhouse Room: Guest room includes one king bed or two twins bed. Pura Vida USA's guest rooms each have a private bath and a walk-in shower. All are tastefully and comfortably decorated in high country style, many with family pieces, antiques and collectibles. Farmhouse Rooms all have beautiful views either of the English style wildflower gardens, the mountains, or the woods.

Cabin Room: Guest room includes two queen beds. Pura Vida USA's guest rooms each have a private bath and a walk-in shower. All are tastefully and comfortably decorated in high country style, many with family pieces, antiques and collectibles. Our unique Cabin Rooms fondly called our "Bear Dens" are private cabins in the woods surrounding the property. All of the cabins have a small refrigerator, and a coffee maker making it just perfect!

Restaurant/Dining: At Pura Vida USA delicious, wholesome and nutritious cuisine is our number one priority. We are committed to serving a huge variety of freshly prepared delicious recipes with the freshest ingredients. The restaurant is mostly vegetarian, but we also serve chicken and fish. If you have any particular dietary requirements, we shall do our best to help you. Our large country breakfast complimentary to our entire guest is perfectly accompanied with our exclusive Costa Rican coffee.

Historic Dahlonega attracts many tourists yearly and it is known for its Courthouse Gold Museum, gold panning and mine tours, its excellent restaurant, specialty shops, and festivals throughout the year. We are within 10 minutes drive from three local Wineries that offer excellent wines and wine tours can be arranged for our guests. The resort is also located just fifteen minutes from Alpine Helen, Georgia where you can tube down the Chattahoochee River, or celebrate Oktoberfest in this quaint town. There are also short but spectacular hikes to Dukes Creek Falls, Raven Cliffs Falls, Helton Creek Falls, and Anna Ruby Falls, less than 30 minutes away.
