Just a few steps from the front door, and your Streetcar awaits! Dating from the 1890s, the Avenue Garden is comprised of three turn of the century town houses that were converted into the hotel. The charm and ambiance of the old houses offers a true New Orleans experience. The houses surround a Courtyard Patio with a mural of the flavor of New Orleans, where guests can be found relaxing most any time of day. Although the Avenue Garden offers lodging only, it is surrounded by many of the city's best eateries and fine dining restaurants. For casual dining, Voodoo Barbeque is connected to our courtyard, and is consistently voted New Orleans Best, year after year. Our guests are frequent patrons of their food and spirits.
